Pickleball Club Marketing & Social Media Management – Lumban, Laguna
My first client was a startup pickleball club in Lumban, Laguna, where I took full ownership of their digital presence, marketing materials, and community engagement strategies. Since the club was just starting out, my role was crucial in building awareness, attracting members, and creating a consistent brand identity across multiple platforms.
I officially began handling their accounts on August 25, when the club had only 100+ followers and just a few posts. From there, I focused on building momentum and establishing a stronger online presence.
I started by managing their Facebook account, curating posts that highlighted court schedules, match updates, and club activities. To expand reach and appeal to a younger, more digital-savvy audience, I successfully launched the club’s presence on TikTok and Reclub, driving higher engagement and visibility within the sports community.
Key responsibilities:
✔️ Responded to inquiries on the page and assisted players with information.
✔️ Checked court availability and coordinated coach schedules for training.
✔️ Handled court reservations, accepted payments, and logged bookings in Teamup Calendar.
✔️ Managed the club’s Facebook, TikTok, and Reclub accounts to boost engagement and visibility.
✔️ Created and maintained a content calendar for consistent posting.
✔️ Designed all marketing materials and posters through Canva.
✔️ Produced engaging video content for TikTok and Reels (matches, rallies, and highlights).
✔️ Promoted events, matches, and programs to strengthen community involvement.
On the operations side, I streamlined the reservation process by managing bookings through Teamup Calendar, which allowed the public to easily access the club’s court availability, ensuring transparency and convenience while reducing scheduling conflicts. This system quickly became a reliable go-to resource for both players and staff.
Since launching the membership program, the club has grown to a total of 51 official members, with over 200+ players from neighboring towns regularly visiting the court to play and train.
Overall, my contributions went beyond content creation—I combined marketing strategy, creative design, customer support, and operational management to help the club grow from a small following into a steadily expanding sports community. By establishing their digital footprint, improving their booking system, and delivering consistent, engaging content, I played a key role in building both their brand and their presence in the local pickleball scene.
