Perceptions of Progressive Filipino Christian Church Members Towards HIV/AIDS: A Case Study on Religious Group Communication Using Symbolic Convergence Theory

This qualitative study examined how members of a progressive Filipino Christian group communicated and shaped their perceptions of HIV/AIDS. Using Symbolic Convergence Theory, it explored how shared narratives contributed to the group’s collective attitudes. The research provided insights into how religious discourse fostered inclusion, compassion, and support for people living with HIV (PLHIV).
