Project Overview
Hinabing Tala is a digital platform that weaves together culture, art, and technology. Its name, drawn from the Filipino words “hinabi” (woven) and “tala” (star or record), reflects the mission to collect and showcase multimedia stories that amplify Filipino voices, preserve cultural heritage, and promote accessible knowledge. Positioned at the intersection of digital education and cultural preservation, Hinabing Tala serves as both an open-access archive and a multimedia hub for students, creatives, and communities.

My Contribution
I spearheaded the UX design and website development of Hinabing Tala. My goal was to create a platform that is intuitive, accessible, and deeply rooted in Filipino identity. From wireframes to final deployment, I focused on crafting a smooth user journey where stories take center stage. The design integrates clean layouts, soft visuals, and cultural motifs to balance professionalism with a welcoming, human-centered experience.

• Minimalist & Accessible Layout – Ensured easy navigation and readability for diverse audiences.

• Storytelling-Centered UX – Structured sections like Archive, Stage, and Connect for seamless content flow.

• Culturally Rooted Aesthetic – Incorporated earthy tones and traditional Philippine motifs in a modern web interface.

The result is a platform that feels both professional and inclusive—a digital space where every Filipino narrative finds a home.
