A. LIP SYNC BATTLE - MV - WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

I had the pleasure of working on an exciting project at my former company in 2021, creating event collaterals for the first-ever online edition of our sector's annual networking night. 

From 2017 until 2021, my event team held a "Lip Sync Battle" - inspired by a TV show of the same name, - during the convention's Networking Night. Here, attendees would form groups, perform, and win prizes. This has always been the much awaited part of the convention.  Due to COVID restrictions however, the event had to be held online. How would we pull this off? We wanted to keep up with the Lip Sync Battle tradition, so we came up with the theme "Lip Sync Battle - Music Video Awards", where contestants would remake famous music videos!

Since this is my first time handling an online event, it presented a unique challenge for me as a multimedia artist and event coordinator. I had to be very creative to ensure that all event collaterals I make would engage the audience and create the same level of excitement as the in-person event. 

To achieve this, I made teaser video for the event which we also played in the "waiting room". I carefully selected snippets of MTV Music Video of the Year winners and superimposed them on a photo of an old analog television. This was done to give the video a retro feel, as if the viewers were watching music videos on TV. I used various effects and transitions to make the video visually engaging and keep the viewers' attention. I also made sure to include elements that would appeal to a broad audience and create a feeling of togetherness, despite being physically apart.

The Lip Sync Battle MV teaser video was a huge success, generating a lot of excitement and anticipation for the online event. I was proud to have been a part of this project and to have contributed to its success.

B. LOGO ANIMATION - WATCH THE FULL ANIMATION HERE.

This was an exciting experiment for me! This is another teaser video I worked on in 2018, which was also played during the event. I was inspired by retro and neon lights for this video and utilized the following software to create a "light switch" effect:

• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Microsoft PowerPoint

I created the logo using Adobe Illustrator and added a glow effect using Photoshop. I made a series of photos for this project, then combined and animated them in Microsoft PowerPoint. You can view the full animation HERE.

C. BASIC VIDEO MONTAGE - WATCH THE VIDEO HERE

This video montage was created to promote my former sector's first online Christmas Party in 2021.  My event team decided on a travel-themed party which we titled "Adventure Awaits: IBS Goes Around the World",  since we all missed going outside and travelling to different destinations. I wanted the audience to feel that we will be able to travel again someday (since this was during at the height of COVID), and there are still a lot of places we can go to once lockdowns and travel restrictions are eased. 

To create the video montage, I requested some employees to send me their own favorite travel videos, and selected a high-energy song to hype up the audience.

I edited the video using Davinci Resolve and audio with Adobe Audition. Final output was posted in our internal social media platform Facebook Workplace and played during the "waiting room" of the online event.
