A. Marketing Materials for a Travel Agency based in Manila, Philippines
I recently worked on a branding and marketing project for a client, where I updated their brand colors and designed various marketing materials, including an ID, business card, e-mail signature, and company profile. The project involved refreshing the client's existing branding to give it a modern and more professional look, while still maintaining their unique brand identity.
As part of the project, I researched and recommended new color palettes that complemented the client's existing branding and appealed to their target audience. Using the new colors, I designed a variety of marketing materials that included their company name, logo, and relevant contact information. and ensured that they were all print-ready and suitable for online use.
B. Tour Flyer Design and Instagram Carousel Posts for a Travel Agency based in Makati, Philippines
I recently had the opportunity to design tour pamphlets and Instagram carousel posts for one of my clients. As a freelancer, I love working on projects that allow me to showcase my creativity and design skills.
Tour Pamphlets (Print and Digital)
I created a design that was visually appealing and easy to read. I made sure that the tour details were clearly displayed, and that the overall look and feel reflected the client's brand. The end result was a beautiful, informative pamphlet that would entice potential customers to book a tour.
Instagram Posts
I created a series of images that highlighted the client's offerings. I made sure that the overall design was cohesive and visually appealing, and keeps the audience's interested in the client's tours.
Working on this project was a great opportunity for me to flex my creative muscles and design skills. I'm proud of the final products, and I'm excited to see the positive impact they will have on my client's business.
C. Communications and Event Collaterals
This is where my love for Graphic Design started!
During my time in corporate, I worked on various design projects for internal communications, employee engagement programs, and events, aside from handling administrative tasks and reports. I started handling these projects in 2016, and over the years, I developed templates and processes to ensure that all designs and communications were sent out in a timely manner, especially for time-sensitive announcements.
My role became even more crucial during the lockdown in 2020-2021, when all communications were coursed through e-mail and the company's Facebook Workplace groups. Not only did I handle graphic design, but I also took on the responsibility of community management. I made sure that all messages were communicated effectively and that our employees felt connected and engaged, despite the physical distance between us.
Some of my key projects during this time included designing e-mail newsletters, creating social media graphics, developing digital posters for employee engagement programs, and designing event collaterals. I worked closely with other members of the team to ensure that all designs were on-brand and aligned with the company's overall messaging and objectives.
Overall, my experience in corporate taught me the importance of clear and effective communication, especially during times of uncertainty and change. Through my design work and community management, I was able to help keep our employees informed, engaged, and connected.
