HR Mgmt / Recruitment
For seven years, my main niche is Human Resource Management. I do end-to-end HR Processes which not only includes recruitment but also performance management, employee engagement, labor relations, payroll and also, business partnering. I worked in a retail company in the Philippines which I dare say is a fast-paced environment given that it is a major company. I supervise three HR staff at most but we cater 200-300 outright employees.
Recruitment
Pre-pandemic, I was responsible in fulfilling the manpower requirements of the company which goes on peak every Back-To-School and Christmas season. With this, I took pride that I was able to onboard 40 to 60 employees for seasonal vacancies together with 5-10 employees for probationary vacancies monthly. Furthermore, all year round, I was responsible in screening and interviewing candidates for key roles in the company -- from supervisory to managerial positions.
Tools I use in Recruitment: In-house Applicant Tracking System (ATS - Phoenix). In-house RVS, Self-developed Excel Sheet for monitoring; JobStreet.Ph, LinkedIN, PhilJobNet, FB Posting
Performance Management
Annually, our employees were subjected for performance management to assess their standing. Results were used as reference for future promotion and for salary increments. As an HR Supervisor, I was responsible in ensuring that all employees were rated correctly based on KPI Standards and all ratings were supported with evidences. I supervised the distribution of KPI Forms to departments and ensure that all documents were filled up and returned to us on time. Also, I was responsible in monitoring 3rd month and 4th month appraisals of new employees and I schedule them for panel interviews for regularization.
Tools I use: Company Provided KPI Forms, Microsoft AX Dynamics, Excel, ORACLE
Labor Relations
This is my major accomplishment when I started in Human Resources. Previously handling HR was not able to manage the company database well and it was passed unto me when I got hired as an HR Assistant. I was left with almost 500 documents/cases to process and I was able to completely finish it within a year. Since then, I was considered as a SME (Subject matter expert) on Employee Discipline. I conduct orientations for new hires about the company's provisions and I do consultations with Department Managers and Supervisors. Furthermore, I was responsible in preparing discipline reports and narratives.
Tools I use in Labor Relations: Excel, Word, Microsoft AX Dynamics, ORACLE
Employee Engagement
As part of the Human Resources Team, I was tasked to collaborate with our counterparts in the business especially during company-initiated activities such as Sportsfest, Rewards Programs, and Themed Events. During my stay, I belonged to the core crew of every program -- brainstorming, designing presentations, creating props , and I even hosted some.
Payroll
Every payroll cut-off, I was the point person to submit reports to our processors. These includes new hires report, separated employees reports, payroll changes, and payroll adjustments. For a year, I also assisted our Timekeeping in checking entries of our employees, raising issues needing attention. Payroll may sound easy but of course, this is vital given that a simple error can cause delays on salaries. I am proud that ever since I became the HR Supervisor we have not any payroll findings which is because I always made sure that all data on our systems are accurate and error-free.

For seven years, I believe I have excellently delivered my job well. This is supported by the recognitions I receive and the amount of trust that my Senior Managers have given me (I, sometimes, was entrusted to decide whenever my Senior Manager will oversee another branch). Furthermore, after being on the job for three years, I was promoted as an HR Business Partner Supervisor. Also, below are some of the certificates I gathered:
