Job Description:
Worked as a data entry specialist handling transaction on all retailers in Resident Home Company; Resident is a house of direct-to-consumer mattress & bedding brands such as DreamCloud, Nectar, Awara and Cloverlane.
I was working and trained under a direct client and my work was to place all the orders of various retailer into the system. There are specific requirements in processing the transaction such as state requirements, rule of discount and delivery processing and of course the accuracy of encoded orders. Working under Retail team requires a good eye for detail as we will be handling numbers, computations and pretty much data encoding.
Sample Work:
As shown on the picture is the tool, we use to process orders so we select the number that says SO154123 and then we’ll be directed to shipping details where we plot the date of the entire delivery from the resident’s warehouse to the consumer’s address. This is just one of the processes, sometimes we receive orders from our Gmail and then input them into our system named Fulfil.IO
Tools and Applications Used:
· Fulfil.io – the account’s web-based system used in the distribution and manufacturing sector.
· Okta- our identity platform as we are working on site so our PCs are being managed.
· Slack- the company’s main messaging up to connect with people inside or outside production area.
· Zoho.com- we also have a personal company email the zoho mail a secure one, encrypted solely for ECE.
· Google Meet- all meetings and huddles with the client are held in this app.
· Google Slides- important for our notes and guides.
· Google Excel- widely used for our trackers and specific process requirements.
· Gmail- main website used to receive orders from retailers.
