• Check and record inventory levels for food and beverages, as well as receive and supply items, on a daily basis.
• Conduct inventory audits to reconcile physical inventory with record levels and reporting weekly results to my supervisor or management.
• Order new supplies based on inventory levels and consumption patterns as needed, and check delivery to assure accuracy and quality.
• Check expiration dates and follow (FIFO) method to ensure that older items are used first to reduce waste.
• Work closely with all departments, especially kitchen and bar workers, to properly understand what things they need.
• Receiving, processing, labeling, storing and delivering of goods; restocking stock as necessary.
• Prepare a purchase requisition, check invoices to the purchase items; maintain a daily stock movement report.
• Keep records of purchases, receive products and materials from shipping containers and ensure everything is in order.
• Monitoring stock levels, performing physical inventory counts, and reconciling stock counts to computer system; reporting discrepancies, spoiled goods, and obsolete items.
• Greeting customers, answering their questions, assist them to locating items and providing advice or recommendations.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are correct and providing a receipt to each customer.
