I worked at Athena Specialty Group for 2.5 years, where I partnered with multiple Nurse Practitioners across Arizona, Texas, Washington, and Florida.

My responsibilities included, but were not limited to:

Requesting medical records for new and returning patients by faxing requests and contacting hospitals and medical providers' offices.

Keeping the Nurse Practitioners on track by ensuring they had all the necessary records before patient appointments.

Preparing order and referral templates for vascular ultrasounds, radiology studies, and lab orders, and sending them to partnered diagnostic companies, laboratories and Clinics.

Scribing patient charts into the EMR, ensuring that all information, including medication and allergy lists, problem and ICD-10 codes, and medical, family, and social histories, was up-to-date.
