Online Bookkeeping-Xero
This portfolio highlights my hands-on experience with essential bookkeeping tasks in Xero. It includes the creation of invoices and receipts, management of bills (accounts payable), and processing of bill payments (remittances). I performed bank reconciliation, added custom accounts to the chart of accounts, and generated a Profit and Loss report. Each task reflects a clear understanding of daily bookkeeping functions and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping.
INVOICES
These screenshots show the sales invoices I created in Xero. Each invoice includes the customer name, invoice date, due date, item details, quantity, price, and tax.





BILLS (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE)
This part shows the bills I recorded in Xero. Each bill includes the supplier name, bill date, due date, item details, amount, and tax.





BILL PAYMENTS (REMITTANCES)
This part shows the payments I recorded for the bills in Xero. It reflects how I process remittances to settle accounts payable, showing the bill reference, payment date, amount paid, and payment method.





BANK RECONCILIATION
This part shows the bank reconciliation I completed in Xero. I matched imported bank statement lines with corresponding invoices and bill payments. Each transaction was reviewed and marked as ‘Reconciled,’ ensuring that the bank balance aligns with the recorded transactions in the system.

CHART OF ACCOUNTS
I also added three new accounts to the Chart of Accounts: a Revenue account for Sales – Custom Perfume Orders, an Expense account for Advertising and Marketing, and an Inventory account for Perfume Supplies.



PROFIT AND LOSS REPORT
I generated a Profit and Loss Report for the month ended July 31, 2025, which shows total sales of $8,164.50, cost of goods sold of $1,195.50, and a resulting net profit of $6,969.00.
