In a place full of shallow connections

You are there playing with my emotions

I know that it may not mean anything

But why can’t I stop smiling?

I’m too shy to tell you how I feel

So, I’d rather stay behind vague implications

While quietly hoping for us to make a deal

That we’d leave all our hesitations.

Excitement rushes through my body

You sent a wave that I’d remember for all eternity.

Our name matches, maybe this is meant to happen?

You seem too good to be true, someone I could only imagine.

You somehow managed to touch a place in my heart that love runs wild

A part of me I barely recognized.

How long will this last? 

I have no idea but I hope not so fast.

Can’t help but wonder, do your words carry magic?

It might tell you “you’re the best part of her story’s plot.”

I spent lots of first times with you

Which made me feel like maybe we’re the perfect two?

Can’t blame me though, the universe had me waiting in a queue  

I just hope everything that I am feeling is all true.

I can still remember clearly the night you confessed to me

The first time I heard you say that you love me, made me realize not to worry

It was dark outside and we were surrounded by smoke

But it was the perfect moment for me, even if we had gotten soaked.

Now that we’ve spent more than three years together, 

I hope for us to stay, no matter the weather.
