When practiced, meditation is a powerful method to reduce the growth and development of both forms of anxiety.

As anxiety is a state of mind, It feeds off our focus. If we fight with it or resist it, ask questions about it, or let it rule the stage like a puppy who isn't enough trained. We are fueling the anxiety, making it stronger. We also cut off our consciousness of our bodies, the environment that we're in, and all the other senses we have.
While doing mindfulness by allowing us to be aware of any sensations that occur, our awareness goes beyond our minds, which means that we start depriving our minds of the fuel they require to ignite the fire of anxiety. We are in the physical reality of our lives, So anxiety doesn't have a lot of influence on our minds.
