I was responsible for teaching college-level courses in the field of Information Technology. I taught various courses, including programming languages, database management, web development, etc. My primary duties include developing and delivering course content, assessing student learning, and providing feedback. I was responsible for designing and updating the syllabus, selecting course materials, and making lesson plans that aligned with the course objectives.
I computed student grades based on their performance in exams, assignments, and projects, and provide feedback on how they can improve their work. I created grade books using Excel to store and calculate the grades of each student in the class and I use Microsoft Word to create Learner's modules and syllabi for my courses. These documents provide students with an organized and comprehensive guide to the course content and expectations.
As a freelance English Tutor, I also incorporated interactive elements such as exercises, questions, and prompts to encourage students' active participation and critical thinking. I use Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or Apple Pages because they are excellent for creating, editing, and formatting documents. They provide features for styling text, inserting images, creating tables, and organizing content.
Overall, it enhances the students learning and engagement in my class.
