Specimen Collection & Preparation
• Collect blood, urine, stool, and other specimens following proper protocols.
• Prepare samples for analysis, ensuring correct labeling and handling.

Laboratory Testing
• Perform routine and specialized tests in areas such as:
• Hematology (e.g., CBC, blood smear)
• Clinical Chemistry (e.g., glucose, electrolytes, enzymes)
• Immunology & Serology (e.g., HIV, hepatitis screening)
• Microbiology (e.g., culture & sensitivity)
• Blood Banking (cross-matching, typing)
• Urinalysis & Parasitology

Quality Control & Assurance
• Conduct daily quality control checks to ensure test accuracy.
• Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance and report malfunctions.

Documentation & Reporting
• Record and validate test results accurately in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Prepare reports for physicians and discuss critical findings promptly.

Safety & Compliance
• Follow laboratory safety protocols (biosafety, chemical safety).
• Comply with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
