I worked as support staff for more than a decade. I was promoted to a higher position after five years of working with one of the most trusted newspaper companies in the Philippines when they made me handle administrative assignments outside the branch, I was initially assigned in. I make sure all requirements of the newly opened branches are complete to operate legally. I was also in charge of training newly hired staff and negotiating with clients and suppliers while the branches were still in the transition period.
I also spent the majority of my employment setting up workflows and designing performance reports for several branches, proving my proficiency with Microsoft Excel and also saving up to 33 hours per week of overhead cost and stress related to rendering overtime.

• Designed an excel worksheet used by branches mimicking the reports generated by the in-house accounting system of the main office. Thus, making performance evaluation by satellite office possible.
• Training newly hired personnel basic branch operation; from office management, lay outing of newspaper materials, billings, marketing newspaper subscriptions, finance, purchasing, etc.
