More on securing and proper execution of works on site that must be based on the standards, laws, codes, approved documents, etc. Also prepares a report for our weekly coordination meeting and a monthly report to our President.
As a Project Architect one of my responsibilities is to inspect and accept the workmanship of general and sub-contractors. I secured the quality assurance and quality control of the project. I was assigned to the acceptance of units, from bare to finish until the owner’s acceptance. I supervised different skilled workers like painters, installers, tile setters, carpenters, and masons and also coordinated with my co-architects and engineers regarding the status of the project. I recorded daily progress and accomplishment, actual manpower, did some scheduling, and studied the activity rate per day in order to know the duration of each manpower in that specific area. I handled multiple contractors related to the acceptance of units.
