More Info About Me

Hi! I’m Sherie Anne C. dela Cruz, but you can call me Sherie. I am from Bulacan, Philippines. I graduated in 2018, I was also a student council member when I was in college. I’ve been working for almost 7 years now. My first job was a Malware Engineer. We ensure that the latest malware threat are detected by latest signature, we perform a day-to-day analysis of threats and create appropriate countermeasures, and we also provide quality and timely solutions to threat related problems within a given timeline. I’ve learned in my first job that I still carry with me up to this day is the technical skills, teamwork, collaboration, discipline, and other management skills, and also client-side experience made me realize the other side of business. My second job was being a Software Engineer, I was once a developer and got promoted after 6 months of working, then they moved me as a Test Engineer and what we do is reviewing software requirements, write test cases, test scripts, test design, test plans, and test strategies. I also collaborate with the team and client with the design and help develop an efficient software system.

Personal-wise, I love to travel; I love learning new cultures; I want to go to different places and talk to different people and know their life stories, ‘cause I believe that you can learn a lot from other people’s struggles and successes. I also love talking to older people who have lots of experience in life, and I used those as a motivation to push harder in life. Also, since I was a kid, I love exploring and solving mysteries that’s why I believe that's the reason why I love watching movies/series that are mind-boggling.
