My name is Shaina Marie or you can call me Shy and I am from Sorsogon Bicol Philippines. I am a 25-year-old with a one year old daughter. My 25 years of existence was not easy. At a young age I was not exposed to a wealthy life, I’ve been through a lot of heartbreaks and that made me realize that life is not easy but on the other hand life is still beautiful because I have a loving family with me. During my college days we were really financially unstable and as a mass communication student you need to at least have a laptop and a camera to produce a good output like short films and documentary films. But unfortunately, my parents can’t really provide that kind of demand from my course. That's why I put in my head that if I can’t be the provider of those things in our group project at least I have to do good in videography and editing in our group. With that kind of setting, I survive my college at the same time I’ve learned a lot and with that I’m proud of myself.
After I graduated, I did not waste time to relax and started immediately to find a job because we are not privileged to relax and after applying fortunately, I landed my job as a payroll assistant where I rendered almost 5 years working. This professional experience as a payroll assistant, honed my organizational and detail-oriented skills in managing payroll processes. Through resilience and determination, I managed to overcome significant struggles, emerging stronger and more capable on the other side.

As a Payroll Assistant and Admin Staff, my role would encompass a dual focus. On the payroll side, I am responsible for accurately processing payroll, calculating wages, overtime, and deductions, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Attention to detail is crucial to avoid errors in payroll processing.
Simultaneously, as an Admin Staff, I also handle general administrative tasks such as handling correspondence, organizing files, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office records
This dual role requires a versatile skill set, combining attention to detail, organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and a good understanding of payroll processes and regulations. I play a key role in both maintaining the efficiency of daily operations and ensuring accurate payroll processing within the organization.
As an Admin Staff, my responsibilities involve providing administrative support to the organization. This includes tasks such as managing office supplies, handling correspondence, organizing files, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office records. I am also responsible for handling incoming calls, directing inquiries. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in office software are typically essential for this role. Additionally, as an Admin Staff, it often serves as a point of contact between various departments and plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of daily operations.
As a Trainee Videographer, Photographer, and Editor, my responsibilities would include assisting in capturing and editing visual content. This involves learning to operate cameras, setting up equipment, and assisting in photo and video shoots. It is also involved in the post-production process, learning to edit and enhance images and videos. Additionally, it may collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative ideas and contribute to the overall production process. This role typically requires a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a passion for visual storytelling.
