• Taking accurate orders and ensuring that they are delivered correctly this requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Waitresses must be able to work efficiently and effectively to ensure that food and beverages are delivered to customers in a timely manner. This requires good time management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to work under pressure.
• The role of a purchaser is to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of all goods and services required for the smooth functioning of the restaurant.
• The purchaser is responsible for identifying the best vendors, negotiating prices, and managing the supply chain to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
• The primary responsibility of a restaurant cashier is to process customer payments accurately and efficiently. This includes accepting cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment, providing change and receipts, and reconciling cash registers at the end of each shift.
• Cashiers are often the first point of contact for customers, and as such, they must provide excellent customer service.
• Cashiers are responsible for maintaining accurate records of all transactions, including sales, voids, refunds, and discounts. This requires attention to detail, good record-keeping skills, and the ability to manage and organize large amounts of data.
