(Accounting Officer)

-I am currently working in a hardware company here in Cebu as an Accounting Officer.
The company I am working with is using a DOS program for all of the company transactions. I've been working for 15 years already in same company since I graduated College.
-I was trained to do my daily tasks and was able to master it now.
-I am the one who safe keep the sales invoices for processing of billing, for collections, for filing.
-I am the one who calls the customers for follow-up payments, for scheduling pick-up of checks with our collectors. I am the one who make daily routes of our collectors.
-I am the one who input details of the delivery dates, counters, collection receipts.
-I am the one who prepare deposits if the in-charge is not around.
-I prepare monthly sales reports to be forwarded to our accountant.
-I input costs of the items.
-I process payables by making vouchers, issuance of checks and BIR 2307.
-I also answer calls of the suppliers who follow up payments and those with concerns of payments.
When some sales personnel are not around, I do entertain customers with their orders through phone calls. And issue sales invoices when they fax or email purchase orders.
-I do prepare all the documents needed by our external accountant like the documents for the renewal of business permits, sales and purchases report and others.
-I am the one who prepares the renewal of the delivery trucks permits.
-Aside from being an accountant officer, I am also a secretary or assistant of the owner. I do process his personal yearly property taxes. I also process the properties he bought by preparing all the needed documents for transfer of titles from the Deed of absolute sale to paying of taxes until it will be successfully transferred
to his name.
-Actually, I can say that I am all around in the company I am working with because I can do the accounting receivable jobs, I can do the accounting payable jobs, I can do the purchasing job, I can do the sales job, I can do the banking jobs, I can do a lot more.
-As I started working, I didn't know anything even from the simple answering the phone, from powering on and off the computer seems to be difficult for me from the very beginning. But, as I am doing it everyday seems to be too easy for me now.
-I am hoping that I can find a client and an employer here who are ever willing to train me to do the tasks as I am more willing to learn and do my tasks with ease.
