• Quantity Takeoff: Conducting accurate material quantity takeoffs, including
measurements and calculations, to estimate the quantities of materials required for
residential and commercial projects.
• Cost Estimation: Analyzing labor, material, and equipment costs to develop
comprehensive project cost estimates. This involves researching and obtaining current
pricing information and evaluating subcontractor bids.
Material Summary List: Preparing a Material Summary List (MSL) which includes a
detailed/itemized list of materials in accordance with the client's preference and
specifications.
