My tasks and responsibilities as a staff member in charge of a private institution's Learner Information System (LIS) and Voucher Management System (VMS) include:
Learner Information System (LIS)
• Maintain accurate records, encode and enroll student information in the LIS, and get in touch with public schools to settle any pending problems.
• Create and oversee reports on student data, make sure DepEd rules and regulations are followed, and assist with audits and inspections.
Voucher Management System (VMS)
• Accurately enter student data and information from government-provided vouchers by manually into the VMS.
• Manage and keep accurate records of the distribution and use of vouchers.
• Assist with data verification and reconciliation, prepare and submit reports on voucher utilization and student eligibility, and support audits to guarantee regulatory compliance.
General Administrative Duties
• Ensure seamless operations and respond to staff, parent, and student inquiries by coordinating with other departments and outside organizations.
• Keep LIS and VMS files and records organized, making that all documentation is available for audits and reviews.
• Inform colleagues on LIS and VMS, keep them informed about system updates, and make sure that new policies are followed.
My roles and responsibilities as an employee of a private institution's admissions department include:
• Examine admissions data, write reports for upper management, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards while making sure that institutional policies, accreditation criteria, and legal requirements are all followed.
• Plan and take part in outreach initiatives, high school fairs, and school visits. Additionally, help with the production and distribution of marketing collateral, including brochures and social media posts.
• Assess and oversee student applications, keeping track of grades and letters of recommendation; input data into the computer system.
• Manage strand registration and orientation, oversee the enrollment procedure for accepted students, and keep correct records of both applicants and enrolled students.
