(Quality Assurance Head)
Responsible in implementing the established Quality Assurance and Quality Control measures and programs to ensure that the brine tuna meet the highest quality standard;
2. Responsible for leading the development and review and maintenance of company’s Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures as well as conducting trainings especially for vessel crew and for RD Fishing Group of Companies;
3. Ensures proper monitoring and implementation of the established food safety standards, verification and validation in the vessel;
4. Responsible in the 3rd party certification and implementation (e.g. HACCP, RFVS, FOS, MSC, etc.) for the company;
5. In-charge in the development and implementation of iQMS;
6. Shall prepare and conducts internal audit annually and provides audit reports to the department being audited;
7. Conducts random plant visit for fish issue verification and regular coordination with QA/QC counterparts (buyers);
8. Handles possible customer inquiry and complaints in relation to quality;
9. Conducts internal audits in relation to RFVS, HACCP, QMS, etc. standards,
10. Also performs other related duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Management
1. Assist in developing and manage relationships with new and existing buyers (local and international).
2. Assist in the price negotiations, terms, and delivery schedules in line with the company targets and market conditions.
3. Monitor customer satisfaction and provide after-sales support as needed.
4. Help and assist conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
Marketing and Promotion
1. Help and assist in the planning and implementation of the marketing campaigns targeting export markets.
2. Attend trade shows, expos, and seafood conventions to promote products and network with potential buyers.
3. Provide product specifications, certifications, and sustainability credentials to clients.
Export Documentation & Compliance
1. Prepare and file complete sets of export documents, including:
a. Contract of Sale
b. Pro-forma Invoice
c. Commercial Invoice
d. Packing List
e. Bill of Lading /Airway Bill
f. Certificate of Origin
g. Health Certificate
h. Catch Certificate
i. Export Declarations
j. Phytosanitary or Veterinary (as required)
2. Apply for and process export permits for whole round tuna, in compliance with:
a. Philippine Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR)
b. PH-BFA eCDTS (electronic Catch Documentation and Traceability System)
c. IUU Compliance requirements
d. RFMO catch documentation
3. Coordinate with logistics and cold storage providers for the booking and shipments and container loading schedules.
4. Monitor and ensure timely issuance of documents to prevent shipment delays or penalties.
5. Handle the application the application and tracking CITES permits or other fishery-specific trade requirements when needed.
Reporting and Coordination
1. Maintain detailed records of sales transactions, shipment records and customer communications.
2. Generate periodic sales and export reports for management review.
3. Stay updated with international regulations affecting tuna exports.

1. Responsible in collecting catch documents and record on board upon arrival at port.
2. Shall review, check and ensure catch documents is accurate, complete, legible and valid.
3. Prepare and process EU CATCH CERTIFICATES on time to BFAR12 for every contract delivered.
4. Timely submission of catch certificate to buyers with close coordination to PNG counterpart.
5. In charge of catch certificate verification to Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in case of buyer’s inquiry.
6. Provide continuous information with regards to new policies in catch certification in line with the new set agreement.
7. Liaises to all government and private agencies, NGO’s, private sectors, etc. that is connected to my line of duty.
8. Conducts training and/or orientation to all officers and crew on-board for traceability compliance and awareness.
9. Provide catch documents, draft catch certificates and other related documents to buyers for GSC deliveries.
10. In charge in Earth Island Institute (EII) monitoring and reports submission in a monthly basis or unless otherwise is requested.
11. In charge in BFAR observer’s embarkation in all RD Boats operating under Bi lateral Licenses.
12. Other tasks that maybe given from time to time.
