I worked for a flight catering facility for over 7 years as Material Planning Coordinator responsible for developing and maintaining production and supply plans of nearly 50 million meals annually to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory, capacity, and resources. In those years I also developed indispensable skills in organization, collaboration, communication, and time management. I was awarded Employee of the Year for 2014.
After a career break to focus on my family, I am completing various trainings to be an effective virtual assistant. I’m excited to bring my experience and new knowledge together to virtually support business owners with reliable, detail-oriented, and efficient assistance. The material planning coordinator - supply chain is responsible for developing and maintaining production and supply plans of nearly 50 million meals annually to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory, capacity, and resources and ensuring the smooth and cost-effective flow of materials and finished goods through the supply chain.
- Led master production planning for 500+ high-volume SKUs, supporting up to 50 million annual meal equivalents with zero stockouts
- Managed end-to-end inventory and supply planning to ensure on-time dispatch and cost-effective stock levels
- Generated daily and weekly inventory reports and KPIs for upper management
- Conducted weekly planning meetings to align stakeholders and resolve production bottlenecks
- Expedited urgent orders to avoid revenue loss and customer dissatisfaction
- Participated in process improvement initiatives including value stream mapping and standardization
- Conducted internal food safety audits (ISO) to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
