Photography has always held a special place in my heart. When I first picked up a camera, I was drawn to the idea of freezing a fleeting moment in time, preserving its essence for years to come.

Little did I know that one day, my passion would lead to a remarkable milestone: One of my favorite photo that I captured the "Sunflower Hearts" being published in the Manila Bulletin: Picture Perfect at December 26, 2017.

I chose an image that I felt truly unique and often goes unnoticed. My first published photograph, featured in the Manila Bulletin, was a testament to this fascination. It was not just any photograph, but one that revealed a unique aspect of nature that I felt was often overlooked—the tiny hearts of sunflowers.

After the excitement and validation of having my first photograph published in the Manila Bulletin, I was eager for the opportunity to showcase my work again.

Festivals, with their lively colors, dynamic movements, and rich traditions, present a unique and exhilarating challenge for any photographer. They are not just events; they are living tapestries of human experience, culture, and joy. 

These experiences have become treasured milestones in my life. They have shown me that remarkable moments often arise from the commitment to exploring and expressing one’s creative vision. For me, being featured in the Manila Bulletin has been more than just a career highlight—it has been a profound reminder of the beauty of seeing the world in new ways and the fulfillment that comes from turning dreams into reality.
