I was a bookkeeper of the cooperative for 2 years at MSU-IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative. My main role is to maintain accurate financial records for the cooperative, including recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and managing the cooperative's accounts. This involves working closely with the cooperative's management and members to understand the financial needs and goals of the business. I am responsible for helping to develop and implement financial policies and procedures for the cooperative. I also provide financial advice and guidance to the cooperative's members and management team.
I was then promoted as HR Specialist handling Compensation and Benefits for 3.5 years. I am tasks to the process of determining and managing the salaries, wages, bonuses, incentives, and benefits provided to employees within an organization. The main goal is to attract, retain, and motivate employees by providing them with a competitive compensation package that aligns with their skills, experience, and performance. Compensation includes base salary or hourly wage, bonuses, commissions, and stock options. Benefits, on the other hand, include health and wellness programs, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks like free meals, gym memberships, and tuition reimbursement.
After being HR Specialist, I was promoted to Branch Manager of the same cooperative. I am tasks to manage the daily operations of a branch of a cooperative organization. I am also responsible for overseeing the branch's financial performance, customer service, and staff management. I am responsible for managing and training the branch's staff. They oversee employee schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure that employees adhere to company policies and procedures. I am to manage the branch's finances, including overseeing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the branch is profitable. I also work with customers to provide financial advice and help them manage their accounts.
