• Implementing safety policies and procedures.
• Ensuring site operatives are aware of risk and hazards.
• Supporting management in preparing project safety plans, carrying out formal training in safety, toolbox talk.
• Conducts inspection in the work-site for potential unsafe acts and conditions.
• Conducts accident investigations and preventive measures.
• Coordination of all temporary works, implementation of a safe system of works.
• Inspect workers and ensure that they wear proper PPE.
• Conduct regular site inspection.
• Conducts accident investigations and recommends preventive measures.
• Prepare Job Hazard Analysis.
• Issuing of company safety notices and safety violations notification.
• Coordinates with supervisor for proper implementation of work permit
• Lockout/tag-out confined space entry, and hot and cold works.
• Observes and complies with existing company, codes, policies, agreements, rules and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspection building, facilities, work areas, tools and procedures of workers to determine unsafe working conditions and practices.
• Investigates accidents by spot inspection and interrogation parties and or witnesses involved to determine cause and prevent recurrence of it.
• Prepares reports based on inspection, observation and investigation, recommending measures and methods of eliminating unsafe working conditions and procedures.
• Prepare all required safety reports and necessary data for permit updates.
• Supervise and manage safety inspection for the entire workers.
• Participate in emergency response activities.
• Defining procedures to meet the demands of job specific hazards.
• Leading the investigation of any accidents or incidents and making recommendations on modified procedures to avoid recurrences
• Coordination and provision of safety training and safety induction to all staff
