I used to work in an engineering consultancy firm as an accounting assistant. In my 4 years of stay in the company, part my responsibilities are around
• Preparations of work orders and verifying required info are cleared
• Ensuring that invoices are process in timely manner
• Validating cheque payments and petty cash requests
I am a single mom and in order meet the growing needs of my son, I should consider trying out some other type of opportunities. I took training for being a caregiver while working back then. I planned to shift the source of my livelihood and try something out related to patient care.
Currently, I have been working as a home care nurse for more than 2 years. I have handled various cases of people (infant, adults, even elderlies) who need close medical attention and monitoring to ensure their full recovery.
I was able to use my previous work experience as this job also requires admin work like preparing reports and coordination.
