More Info About Me

My name is Marisol Barrientos Angcao but you can call me Sol for short. 27 years of age and a single mother of two wonderful kids. My eldest is 4 and my youngest is 1 year old. I love spending time with my kids which is why I decided to work as a virtual assistant and freelancer. I am passionate about my work and I also want to prioritize taking care of my kids. I believe that I can effectively balance both by working from home or finding a job with flexible hours. I am committed to finding a solution that allows me to pursue my career while also being present for my children. I am confident that with the right support and understanding from my employer, I can excel in my work and still have the time to do what I love, which is being a dedicated parent.

Took up a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education majoring in Mathematics. Before entering my fourth year in College we had a financial crisis which led me to decide to start working and help my parents. This is where my call center job experience landed. 2017 when I got hired as a customer service representative for a Telco account. After a year I relocated from Cavite to Manila reason is for salary appraisal since the minimum wage is higher if you have a job in Manila. Luckily I got hired and worked as a customer service for a healthcare account that lasted for a year and 2 months. Another unfortunate event happened that is why I decided to go back to Cavite. The pandemic hit and since the company didn't have a relocation site for us to at least be safe from the virus I decided to resign and look for a job that has a remote setup or work-from-home setup. While browsing Facebook there was an ad and I applied. The next day I received a call and got hired. Lasted for 2 years handling retail accounts. After that, I left since our account dissolved. I worked for a different company and again I got hired in a telco account. After 6 months of working, I found out that I was pregnant and since it was a risky pregnancy I resigned. After giving birth I worked as a freelancer and used to be a Manager who handles people as well as a Social Media Manager for a start-up business after a year I decided to resign and took up courses to help me become a virtual assistant.

I am a Team player, Hardworking, a Fast learner, exciting to work with, Passionate, and Eager to learn new things.
