As a product researcher during my 15-day internship at Prova, I conducted in-depth market analysis and user research to inform product development strategies. Being technical support for wellness software typically involves providing assistance to users who are experiencing technical issues or have questions about the software. I play a critical role in ensuring that users can use the software effectively and achieve their wellness goals with ease. I should be able to identify and resolve issues that users are experiencing with the software, such as login problems, software crashes, or bugs. I provide strategic techniques on how to use the software effectively, including how to navigate the software, input data, and generate reports.
I highly developed my skills and abilities here where I am responsible for managing a variety of customer concerns related to billing, product information for home internet, TV channels, landline, basic troubleshooting, as well as handling inbound sales such as services bundles and protection plans.
I started here to become a more attentive, problem solver, organized, and multi-tasker through managing customer concerns related to WIFI connectivity and technical support which requires a combination of communication skills, technical knowledge, and empathy. If the customer is having trouble connecting to their home WIFI or a public hotspot, I provide them with some troubleshooting steps that they can try on their own. This could include resetting their router, checking their network settings, or updating their device's software.
I learned a lot being involved in an e-commerce marketplace, responsible for handling various customer inquiries related to purchased items, vouchers, services, restaurant and hotel reservations, as well as travel bookings. Additionally, engaged in providing support for consumer electronics and home appliances, including addressing warranty coverage queries, scheduling appointments for diagnostic and repair services, offering basic troubleshooting assistance, and promoting warranty extensions and contract renewals.
Here, I knew it was my career's turning point. It was my first-time providing customer service, I did remote troubleshooting through diagnostic tools to resolve issues related to system operations, email services, gaming systems, cloud services, data recovery, and account authentication.
A gate opened right after my banking journey of almost three years, I finally used my degree and become responsible for recruitment and employee relations, including managing employee requisitions, sourcing candidates through online and walk-in channels, conducting initial interviews for background checks, facilitating orientation, and verifying and processing employee prerequisite documents. Also conducts meetings and summarizes performance evaluations.
