More Info About Me

Hi! I’m Ma. Rica S. Dela Cruz, a graduate of International Hospitality Management with hands-on experience in both the hospitality and e-commerce worlds.

I started my journey working in our family-owned restaurant, where I learned the value of great service and what it takes to keep customers happy.

I also had the incredible opportunity to become an intern at Solaire Resort and Casino, one of the top 5-star hotels in the Philippines. There, I worked in the Kitchen Department, specifically in cold kitchen section, where I helped prepare and present dishes with precision and quality. I was also in charge of overseeing event buffets for VIP guests, which taught me a lot about attention to detail, professionalism, and handling high-pressure situations.

Later on, I had the opportunity to work abroad, which opened my eyes to different cultures and gave me the chance to connect with people from all walks of life. It really helped shape my communication skills and taught me how to adapt to any environment.
Outside the hospitality scene, I also worked as an E-commerce Assistant for an international brand selling clothes and jewelry. I handled product listings, everything from uploading product photos, writing descriptions, assigning item codes, managing stock, and keeping the inventory up to date on Shopify. Attention to detail was key, and I enjoyed making sure everything was clean, accurate, and organized.

On top of that, I worked as a Chat Support Representative, where I responded to customers through live chat on social media. I answered questions about products, keeping them updated with the status on their orders, helped with sizing and availability, and made sure they felt taken care of from start to finish.

I’m someone who loves staying organized honestly, even small details out of place can bother me. I’m a fast learner, always eager to pick up new skills, and I work well under pressure. Multitasking? No problem. I’m comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Docs, Sheets, and Canva, and I'm always open to learning more.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at home enjoying a good movie, catching up on vlogs, or spending time with my family. I also love discovering cozy cafés and nice places around our province anything that lets me relax, recharge, and make memories with the people I care about.

I’m always excited to take on new challenges where I can grow, contribute, and make a real impact. Whether it’s in hospitality, customer service, or the digital space, I bring energy, adaptability, and a strong attention to detail to everything I do.
