Mabuhay! My name is Marco Sison, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your prospective Social Media Manager and Virtual Assistant. 22 years old and a proud Filipino with a passion for exploration, creativity, and delivering exceptional results in the digital realm.
I pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism Management, circumstances related to financial constraints prevented me from completing the program. Initially, my dream revolved around becoming a Flight Attendant (FA). However, I have come to realize that there was a greater purpose behind God's redirection. While my aspirations previously centered on the aviation industry, I now find myself driven toward a new path as a Virtual Assistant (VA). I believe that the future holds significant opportunities within the virtual realm as our world progresses digitally.
I have previous experience in managing social media for my own small business named Coco Leaf, which I launched during the midst of the pandemic. Recognizing the Filipinos' growing interest in indoor plants during that time, I seized the opportunity and successfully launched the business. It brought me the fulfillment I desired, especially since I am an independent individual who relies on my own efforts to sustain and provide for myself while living alone. However, unexpectedly, my small business met its demise due to a personal issue. In order to prioritize my mental well-being and find inner peace, I decided to take a break and step back from the business.
During that period of respite, I discovered myself immersed in the digital realm and the online world. Platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter became my constant companions as I avidly followed trends and enjoyed watching various clips. It was during this time that I stumbled upon TikTok videos discussing Virtual Assistance. The concept intrigued me, and I immediately recognized my potential in that field. Motivated by this realization, I dedicated myself to acquiring knowledge and skills in virtual assistance and social media management. To further enhance my expertise, I enrolled in comprehensive courses and pursued relevant certifications. With the invaluable guidance and mentorship provided by ProVA, I gained confidence in my abilities and developed a strong belief in myself, propelling me toward the goal of becoming a virtual assistant.
