Hi! My name is Mara Carmela C. Causing, you can call me Mara. I am a 29 years old Filipina and currently residing at Los Baños Laguna Philippines. I graduated at Ema Emits College Philippines in Pinamalayan Oriental Mindoro with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biological Science. I passed the licensure examination for professional teacher on March 2017.
I am excited to introduce myself and share my extensive work experience as a secondary teacher. With five years in the education field, I have developed a strong passion for inspiring and guiding students, fostering a love for learning, and promoting critical thinking skills. As a dedicated professional, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse student populations, implementing innovative teaching methodologies to accommodate various learning styles. I became a primary English teacher at St Therese School of South Ville , I have a multitude of duties and responsibilities that play a vital role in shaping the language proficiency of young students. My primary task is to plan and execute well-structured lessons that effectively cover the various aspects of English language learning, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking. Through continuous assessment and feedback, it is my responsibility to monitor students' progress and make necessary adjustments to my teaching methods to address individual learning needs. These includes reading comprehension, writing , listening and speaking skills. My students are Korean nationals, primary and university students in particular. Being an ESL teacher in a span of time I have realize that one should be patient and be attentive to students needs by building rapport, while remaining knowledgeable about respectful of cultural differences within the classroom.
