My journey began as a registered pharmacist, where I spent two years working in a community pharmacy. This role allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills, refine my problem-solving abilities, and master the art of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
When the pandemic created new opportunities for remote work, I transitioned into the role of a medical virtual assistant with an ophthalmology clinic in Connecticut. Over the past three years, I’ve managed various tasks, including live scribing, appointment setting, insurance verification, prior authorization, medical billing, surgical scheduling, and referral coordination. This experience has not only enhanced my technical skills but also my ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
