As a nursing assistant, I am responsible for a variety of tasks to help patients with their daily needs andmedical care. This includes:
• Peg tube feeding using machine: I help patients to receive nutrition through a tube that is insertedinto their stomach. This is often necessary for patients who are unable to eat or drink normally.
• Suctioning: I remove mucus and other fluids from patients' airways using a suction machine. This helpsto prevent breathing problems and infections.
• Nebulization: I help patients to take medication through a nebulizer, which is a machine that turnsliquid medication into a mist that can be inhaled. This is often used to treat asthma and other respiratoryconditions.
• Vital signs monitoring: I check patients' vital signs, such as their temperature, heart rate, bloodpressure, and respiratory rate, on a regular basis. This helps to identify any potential problems early on.
• Changing catheter: I help patients to change their catheters, which are tubes that are inserted intothe bladder to drain urine. This is necessary for patients who are unable to urinate on their own.
• Medicine administration: I give patients their medication as prescribed by their d
octor. This may involvegiving them pills, injections, or topical medications.
• Blood sugar monitoring: I check patients' blood sugar levels on a regular basis to ensure that they arewithin a safe range. This is especially important for patients with diabetes.
• Proper hygiene: I help patients to maintain proper hygiene by bathing them, brushing their teeth, andcombing their hair. I also help them to change their clothes and bedding.
• Perennial care: I provide special care for the perineal area, which is the area between the genitals andthe rectum. This may involve cleaning the area, applying creams or ointments, and changing dressings.
• Assisting mobility: I help patients to move around safely and independently. This may involve helpingthem to get in and out of bed, walk, or use a wheelchair.
• General office work: Provides administrative support for the dental office, including answering phones,greeting patients, and managing paperwork.
• Confirming dental appointments: Contacts patients to confirm their upcoming appointments and toreschedule or cancel appointments as needed.
• Keeping track of treatment records: Updates patient records with information about their dentaltreatment, including procedures performed, medications prescribed, and upcoming appointments.
• Sending and processing insurance dental coverage for approvals: Submits dental claims to insurancecompanies and follows up to ensure that claims are processed and paid correctly.
• Ordering dental supplies and materials: Tracks inventory of dental supplies and materials and placesorders to ensure that the office has the necessary supplies to provide patient care.
• Answering inbound calls from customers
