As a devoted Registered Medical Technologist and Certified International Medical Laboratory Scientist, I bring an exceptional blend of clinical proficiency and a customer-centric approach.
With four years of Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, including one year of Hospital Internship, I am well-versed in medical terminology, regulations, and procedures. Additionally, I have experience in customer service, which includes working with clients of various nationalities and developing outstanding relationships. (Medical Technologist Intern)
My workload is divided into three parts:
(1) Pre-analytical - In this phase, I provide customer service by engaging with the clients and asking about their needs. Then, I check their requisition forms and prepare the materials needed. In this phase, I collect samples such as blood, urine, or semen.
(2) Analytical - I process the patient's samples using different machines depending on the doctor's ordered tests. Also, if devices encounter problems, I troubleshoot.
(3) Post-Analytical - I note the patient's results, analyze them, and encode them in the Laboratory Information System and Hospital Information System. Lastly, I print the results, have the in-charge sign them, and release them to the physician.
