Behind the Scenes: The Dedication of a Social Media Manager at The Sol Cafe and Study Lounge

In the world of social media, many might assume that a social media manager’s role ends with creating posts and managing online interactions. But for those who work in the bustling café industry, the job goes far beyond the screen. As the social media manager for The Sol Cafe and Study Lounge in Dumaguete City, I’m deeply involved in ensuring that every cup of coffee served and every dish offered meets the highest standards.
At The Sol Cafe, our goal is to provide more than just a place to grab a quick coffee, we aim to create an experience. This experience begins long before the coffee reaches the customer’s table. From carefully selecting premium coffee beans to ensuring every ingredient is fresh and of the finest quality, I’m dedicated to overseeing every aspect of our production.
Coffee is an art, and every barista at The Sol Cafe understands this. While I manage the cafe's online presence, I also work closely with the team to maintain quality and consistency. I monitor the brewing process, the use of milk and syrups, and the presentation of each cup to make sure that each beverage aligns with our vision of excellence.
But it doesn’t stop there. I take great care in ensuring the ambiance of our café matches the welcoming atmosphere we portray online. Whether it’s adjusting lighting, checking the comfort of seating, or making sure the study areas are conducive to productivity, my role is to make sure everything that influences the customer’s experience is in top shape.
By balancing the digital side of social media management with hands-on involvement in the cafe, I can ensure that every customer leaves satisfied, knowing they’ve experienced the very best we have to offer, both online and offline.
