With a background in Management Accounting and hands-on experience in payroll and project-based accounting, I bring both a strong foundation and real-world practice—even before stepping into the freelance world.
While still in my fourth year at UM Tagum College, I began working for a small construction firm as payroll and accounting staff. Like many small businesses, they ran entirely on manual systems. I saw an opportunity to improve efficiency—and I took it. I introduced simple but effective automated Google Sheets systems that streamlined salary computation, payslip generation, and expense tracking. The result? Fewer errors, hours saved, and clearer insight into project-level profitability.
When I realized my values and goals were leading me in a different direction, I made the choice to leave the family-run company and take the leap into freelancing—determined to build something of my own.
I enrolled in a specialized bookkeeping course, joined an internship, optimized my online presence, and soaked up every resource I could find. Within a month, I landed my first client: a real estate professional. Soon after, I partnered with a U.S.-based business managing multiple QSR franchises.
Today, I’m looking to partner with growing business owners who need someone they can trust—not just to do the books, but to care about the numbers like they do.
