As a licensed mechanical engineer who passed the exam in 2017, I'm presently employed as a field engineer at a coal-fired power plant in Toril, Davao City. I attended Mindanao Polytechnic College in General Santos City to complete my BS in Mechanical Engineering degree.
As a person. I believe life is an art, and I am the artist of my life. I try to keep it full of colors and as cheerful as possible no matter what life throws at me. I am an enthusiast and a person full of curiosity. Curious to know what life is all about and what it holds in the future I like to keep a smile on my face no matter what I am going through, and that smile keeps me going. I have the direction and have the desire to be successful.

-Responsible for on-site inspection, local monitoring and routine minor maintenance of the 2 x 500 T/H CFB Boiler, 2 x 150 MW Steam Turbine-Generator and related auxiliary equipment and accessories, as well as for the operation.
-Inspect, monitors, records periodically in log sheets and evaluates the physical condition of the Boiler/Turbine generators and related auxiliary equipment and accessories on-site as well as the operating values indicated at local instruments and panels to detect evidence of equipment malfunctions.
-Reports any abnormalities observed to the immediate Supervisor for appropriate action.
-Regulates and adjust auxiliary equipment with local controls to achieve stable operations upon the instruction of the Control Room Engineer.
-The area of responsibility covers the Boiler, Turbine/Generator, standby Gen-set Unit, Water Treatment Systems, and all other auxiliaries that form part of the boiler/turbine operations.
-Knowledge in Lock-Out Tag-Out or LOTO system.
-Maintain the cleanliness of equipment, auxiliaries and accessories within the area of responsibility using appropriate cleaning methods to prevent equipment deterioration.
-Test-runs emergency generators and all stand-by equipment and records in log sheets in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure reliability and performance.
-Prepares and submits status reports on the water treatment operations for reference and control.
-Complies with occupational safety and health as we as environmental rules and regulations to prevent accidents, illness and adverse effects on the environment.
-Working knowledge on good techniques and practices in monitoring and maintaining Boiler/Turbine auxiliary and water treatment equipment.

-The position is responsible for the operation, on-site inspection, local monitoring, and routine minor maintenance of the water treatment systems and wastewater treatment systems and related auxiliary equipment and accessories.
-Operates water treatment and wastewater treatment equipment following approved operating procedures and within specifications to ensure safe, efficient and reliable production of required water quality.
-Ensures integrity of water basins/pools and chemical tanks in accordance to internal safety policies and established procedures, including but not limited proper disposal of chemicals to preclude spillage and contamination.
-Ensures the proper treatment of wastewater in accordance with established procedures in compliance with government regulations.
-Prepares and submits status reports on the water treatment operations for reference and control.
-Coordinates with the plant’s Chemical Analyst for proper corrective action and setting of parameters on the effective treatment of water and wastewater, based on the results of the water quality monitoring.
-Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, and conducts minor repairs on auxiliary equipment and accessories to keep equipment in good working order at all times.
-Reports problems encountered to immediate Supervisor for information and/or appropriate action.
