My name is Julie Mae Nueva Gomez, though you can simply call me "Julie." I am 32 years old and originally from Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines, where I grew up in the province of Negros Island Region. Currently, I reside with my mother and am single. As the eldest in the family, I took on additional responsibilities after my father passed away in 2018. This event influenced my decision to pursue remote work after completing my studies, allowing me to remain close to my mother and avoid the commute hassle.
My career journey began in 2012 in Bacolod City, where I joined the BPO industry, which was six hours away from home. This experience provided me with valuable insights into commitment and responsibility. Commitment meant taking my work seriously and adhering to company policies, while responsibility involved punctuality, diligence in tasks, and maintaining confidentiality. After eight months, I sought a job closer to home and was fortunate to find employment in Dumaguete City. My work continued until 2017, when I decided to pursue further studies, during which I took on part-time roles in seasonal accounts at local BPOs until my graduation in 2021. Since then, I have embarked on a work-from-home career path.
With over four years of experience, I offer strong skills in customer service, data entry, lead generation, and virtual assistance. I am known for my diligence, willingness to take on challenges, teamwork, and ability to work independently. I am eager to continue learning and growing, adaptable to new environments, and ready to contribute positively to your team.
