 General Microbiological Test for water and Chemical test of Water, Soil, Aggregate, Concrete
and Admixture as per international standards.
 Microbiological test for water includes Total Coliform, Escherichia Coli, and Fecal Coliform.
 Testing for Ground Water, Treated Water, Water for Concrete Works and Drinking Water.
 Water Testing includes pH, Chloride, Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, Sulfate, Nitrate-Nitrogen,
Ammonia-Nitrogen, Fluoride, Total Organic Carbon, Total Phosphorus, Chemical Oxygen
Demand, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Total Hardness, Calcium Hardness, Total Dissolved
Solid, Turbidity, Total Suspended Solids, and Electrical Conductivity and Alkalinity. Chemical
Testing for Soil/Rocks includes Acid Soluble Sulphate / Chloride, Water Soluble Salt, Water
Soluble Sulphate / Chloride, Organic Matter and pH.
 Chemical Testing for Aggregates includes Acid Soluble Sulphate /Chloride, Water Soluble
Sulphate / Chloride, Organic Matter, Potential Alkali and pH.
 Assist in preparation of samples and cleaning reagent for ICP-MS.
 Participating and performing Water Test in PTA (Proficiency Testing Australia) for program.
 Worksheet preparation according to the test parameters and reporting the test results to the
laboratory manager.
 Supervising and providing proper guidance for the sample preparation to the technicians and
proper handling of laboratory glass wares.
 Receiving and sample registration as per International Standards or as per contractor request,
along with the preparation of worksheet for the samples to be tested and arranging the samples
for testing and disposal.
 Accountable for proper preservation of samples if delayed for testing.
 Preparing purchase request of chemicals, media, glass wares and equipment required for the
test.
 Maintaining Proper and updated record for Equipment maintenance history card and their
external calibration and internal verification.
 Maintaining Intermediate Temperature Check record for oven, Muffle Furnace, Laboratory
refrigerator, incubator and water bath.
 Proper documentation for Certificate of Analysis and MSDS for Chemicals.
 Media and reagent preparation and standardization, and maintaining their updated records.
 Maintaining Chemical inventory list for the newly received Chemicals and Disposal record of the
expired chemicals, media and hazardous waste.
 Calibrates Glass ware, Weighing Balance, pH Meter and Turbidity Meter.
 Familiar with International Standards such as: BS, BSEN, ASTM, and APHA.
