As a bookkeeper, duties include: inputting transactions into accounting software, ensuring accurate and current records, creating financial reports, reconciling bank/credit card statements, managing payables/receivables, and payroll processing.
As an IT, these are my tasks including the Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software
Troubleshooting computer and software problems
Ensuring data security and backing up data regularly
Setting up and maintaining computer networks
Providing technical support to staff members
Inputting data into computer systems accurately, verifying completeness, maintaining integrity/security, organizing/storing data, and updating databases.
• Overseeing the IT department's operations and ensuring that the department is meeting its objectives.
• Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of the organization's IT systems.
• Managing the IT budget and ensuring that IT projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensuring that the IT department is providing excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and making recommendations for their use within the organization.
• Hiring and managing IT staff, including setting goals, providing feedback, and overseeing professional development.
• Collaborating with other department heads to align IT initiatives with the organization's overall strategy.
• Ensuring that the organization's data is protected, backed up, and recoverable in case of a disaster or data loss.
• Deals always with SCCM application when deploying images on machines, installing or uninstalling applications from workstations
• Most of the time we used to manage Active Directory services such as moving users or Computer from one OU to another OU.
• Checking and monitoring these OUs if having the right and proper injected GPOs
• Maintaining SCCM by checking and verifying old machines that are no longer existing on the physical stand point.
• Maintaining and Monitoring such machines in the AD if are no longer existed on production floors
Cabling new and existing locations for new network, phone or other equipment
Repairing or upgrading computer systems as needed
Providing Tier 1 level support on hardware and software technical issues
Any other duties that the Director of Desktop Support, Dekstop Manager or Lead Desktop Engineer may find necessary
Solid desktop hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Solid desktop application support and troubleshooting
Knowledgeable in Windows Active Directory
Knowledge in Group Policy and User Profiles
Knowledgeable in Desktop Imaging technology such as WDS with MDT
Knowledgeable in Shell Scripting
Basic network troubleshooting
Basic telephony troubleshooting
Analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interaction and planning digital campaigns to build community.
Search the Internet for information on a wide variety of topics.
Promote companies' products and services by developing copy for websites, social media, marketing materials.
