I’m Joanna, 24 years old, from the City of Love, Iloilo City. I’m a passionate Psychology Student with deep interest in HR work, particularly in Hiring and recruitment or Training and development. I’m always eager to learn, explore my potential and to take on challenges that will push me to grow. I will be graduating this semester with a degree in BA Psychology from University of St. La Salle - Bacolod. When I am not working I enjoy taking care of my dogs, watching movies, playing games, yoga or meditating, learning musical instruments, crafting, and reading or watching, which helps me stay creative and balanced. I’m always looking for new ways to connect with like-minded individuals and make a positive impact in the community.

(HR Intern)
I actively supported the recruitment process by assisting applicants during interviews, calling candidates for verification, and scheduling interviews. I helped review resumes and coordinated with the HR Manager to prepare and manage important documents for signing. I also contributed to internal communications by helping design, create, and finalize a bulletin board project (Pepsi Bulletin Board), which involved brainstorming content, preparing materials, and securing approvals. Additionally, I participated in organizational activities such as posting hiring announcements and facilitating the signature collection for revised leave forms across departments. This internship enhanced my communication, coordination, and administrative skills in a professional HR setting.

USLS - Integrated School - Guidance and Evaluation Center

I supported various initiatives focused on student mental health and academic development. I assisted with the checking, scoring, and encoding of OLSAT (Otis-Lennon School Ability Test) results for Grades 1–6, and helped facilitate the Mental Health Corner Booth by engaging students and promoting mental well-being across different grade levels. I also contributed to data encoding for learning styles and temperament indicators, and participated in creating monthly infoguides with educational and mental health content. Additionally, I collaborated in brainstorming podcast topics related to student wellness and supported daily office tasks such as fetching students for counseling sessions. This experience allowed me to apply my psychology knowledge in a real-world setting and deepened my understanding of student support services in a school environment.
