The Social Media Manager Assistant supports the Social Media Manager in developing, executing, and managing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and growth. This role involves content creation, scheduling, trend research, and analytics, ensuring a cohesive and impactful online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Curation:
Design engaging graphics, videos, and multimedia content tailored to platform-specific audiences.
Research and curate relevant content to align with the brandβs voice and goals.
Write compelling captions and identify effective hashtags to maximize reach and engagement.
Scheduling & Publishing:
Manage content calendars and schedule posts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Ensure timely publishing of content and monitor for optimal posting times.
Trend Research:
Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
Identify opportunities to incorporate trending topics or formats into campaigns.
Audience Engagement:
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions promptly and professionally.
Foster community growth by engaging with followers and encouraging user-generated content.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyze social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and conversions.
Prepare performance reports and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
Collaboration:
Assist the Social Media Manager in coordinating with graphic designers, content creators, and other team members.
Support campaign planning and execution, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
Administrative Support:
Maintain organized records of campaigns, content drafts, and feedback.
Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify new strategies.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools (Notion, slacks, Business Suite, Inshot, Canva , etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creativity and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
Basic understanding of SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
