Utilizing Microsoft Excel and proper researching via search engines (Google, etc.) I was able to generate a data for wholesale distributors. This data will serve as their reference so that they can easily track their customers' information and have their data on a consolidated repository and in tabular form so that it can be accessed easily.
This data consist of the following fields and the reasons why it is included:
- restaurant_name -so that we can easily identify the name of our customers
- contact_number - will be used as main contact reference in case we need to communicate with them
- contact_department - so that we will know who are we talking to once we call them
- city - so that we'll know what city they reside
- state - so that we'll know what state they reside
- country - so that we'll know what country they reside
- email_address - so that we can have an alternative contact information
- website - in case the contact information are no longer working we can easily check and validate with their updated contact details available
- specialty - so that we also have a reference what they specializes and we can easily know the wholesale products they need
This data or table format can be used for "Leads" purposes so that we can have a proper listing of "Leads" and can also serve as our reference if restaurants are within our reach, they need the product we have and we can easily contact them.
It's very important to take note the proper way of storing the data it's form and data types. An excel file is a powerful tool because of its versatility and it has lots of functions that we can use and explore that are very helpful to our businesses.

On this responsibility I was assigned to create an Excel file and we call it as Data Dictionary. This file consist of database table information so that stakeholders has reference in identifying the right tables and attributes they will use. I used a macro in transforming some naming conventions and Excel functions in calculating some information.

Being a trainer you also need to have a record so that you can assess your trainees on how well they learn from you and how effective you are. On this experience I am an instructor for a data processing tool and to conclude the training I give my participants some sort of assessment exam. The data I gathered from this were analyzed so that I can assess that they can improve on, how effective I am as a trainer and also it can be a reference to other units in identifying who can already work on this specific tool. On the assessment I used Google Form as the "test paper", Google Sheet as the data repository and also used the built-in generated report for insights purposes.
Below are the sample reports I gathered based on the data I have.
- Insights - this tells me how many does an excellent job answering the assessment correctly and who understood the whole training. Based on the graph most of them did a good job and pass the assessment
- Frequently missed question - this tells me where most of the participants answered the question incorrectly. This will serves as my guide so that I can identify what part of the training is difficult to absorb and understand on their part. This will also serve as an indicator for me to provide them some materials to review and practice so that they can improve their understanding on that specific part.
