Meet Our Pack: Life with Four Huskies and Golden Retriever 🐾🐺
Dogs are more than just pets; they are family. In our home, we are lucky to be surrounded by an energetic and loving pack of four Siberian Huskies and one Golden Retriever. Each of them has their personality, quirks, and unique traits that make life with them an adventure every single day. Whether it’s zoomies in the yard, dramatic howling conversations, or cozy cuddle sessions, our furry family fills our days with laughter and unconditional love. Let’s introduce you to our pack: Panther, Ciao, Blackie, Ciaopan, and Mola!
Panther: The Majestic and Walking Teddy Bear
Panther is our strong and handsome black-coated husky, a true embodiment of quiet confidence and independence. While he carries himself with the pride of a leader, he’s also the kind of dog who demands attention only when he truly needs it. His favorite part of the day? Walk time — nothing makes him happier than stretching his legs and taking in the world. But don’t be fooled by his nonchalant demeanor; when it’s zoomie time with his pack, he’s the first to race through the yard with boundless energy. His deep, expressive eyes are impossible to resist, especially when he wants something — one look, and you’re wrapped around his paw. And despite his wolf-like elegance, Panther is a big, huggable teddy bear who adores his fur dad the most.
Ciao: The White Princess and Loving Mommy
Ciao is our fierce yet loving white-coated husky, the true queen of the pack. She may be small, but she rules with an iron paw — always keeping Panther, Blackie, and Ciaopan in check. Despite her regal demeanor, she’s known for her signature grumpy expressions, especially for Mola, our Golden Retriever, who always seems to test her patience. But beneath her tough exterior, Ciao is the sweetest, most devoted mom. She adores belly rubs, zoomies with her pups, and snuggling up with her favorite hooman — her fur mom. Remove her from the bed, and you’ll surely hear about it! Protective, sassy, and full of love, Ciao is the heart of our Husky family.
Blackie: The Dramatic and Lovable Diva
If there’s one word to describe Blackie, it’s dramatic. She is the most expressive and sentimental pup in the pack, wearing her heart on her sleeve — or rather, her fur. She got the perfect combination of Panther’s striking presence and Ciao’s sassy personality. Every time her fur parents arrive home, she puts on an emotional performance, crying dramatically at the staircase as if she hadn’t seen them in years. Her soulful puppy eyes are her secret weapon — one look, and she gets whatever she wants. She loves her daily walks and has an unbreakable bond with Mola, her best friend and partner in crime. While she enjoys attention only when she needs it, Blackie is truly the female version of her dad — a strong yet affectionate soul wrapped in a fluffy coat.
Ciaopan: The Wild and Whimsical Daredevil
Ciaopan is the wild child of the pack — fearless, fast, and full of boundless curiosity. As Ciao’s daughter, she inherited her mother’s sass and her father’s adventurous spirit, making her the most unpredictable member of our furry family. She has the most offbeat, endearingly awful howl but insists on using it every chance she gets. If something can be chewed, Ciaopan will find it — chargers, shoes, and anything left within reach become her latest obsession. The fastest runner of the group, once she’s off-leash, is a full sprint to the subdivision gate before we can even blink. Despite her mischief, she’s stunning with her striking eyes and loves nothing more than playing with her mom, Blackie, and Mola or lounging on the terrace, watching people outside with deep curiosity, as if she’s silently judging their every move.
Mola: The Golden Retriever Who Brings Balance
Amid all the Husky energy, Mola, our adorable Golden Retriever, is the calm within the storm. With her long body resembling a hotdog, she has a unique charm that sets her apart. Unlike the Huskies, she doesn’t need a leash — her discipline and loyalty make her the easiest to walk. She loves squishing herself against her fur parents and rolling blissfully in the grass, soaking in every moment. Left alone in a room, she’ll burst into zoomies the second she’s reunited with her fur parents. Her scent may carry an oddly addictive fishy aroma, but it only adds to her irresistible personality. The gentlest soul of the pack, she finds comfort sleeping beside her fur mom, often resting her head on a pillow or belly — sending anyone off into the deepest, most peaceful sleep.
Meet the Outside Siblings: Ohayo and Bonjour
Not all members of our furry family live under the same roof — two special siblings from Cavite: Ohayo, and Bonjour, complete our extended pack.
Ohayo: The Attention-Seeking Shih Tzu
Ohayo is a little ball of energy wrapped in a fluffy Shih Tzu coat. She shares Ciao’s fiery personality, especially when it comes to Bonjour — her partner in crime (and occasional rival). Always eager for attention, Ohayo greets her fur parents with unmatched excitement whenever they return home from Bulacan. Her love for zoomies and belly rubs knows no bounds, and she will stop at nothing to be the center of attention. Despite her feisty attitude, she is deeply loyal to her fur mom, always sticking close by her side.
Bonjour: The Lovable Poodle with a Sweet Smile
Bonjour is the definition of charm. With her soft curls and gentle eyes, she wins over everyone she meets. She loves car rides, belly rubs, and, most of all, waiting patiently for her fur mom, Ate Shine, to come home. Unlike her fiery sister Ohayo, Bonjour is a well-mannered and disciplined pup, though she never says no to a spontaneous Zoomie session. Her affectionate nature makes him the most lovable dog you’ll ever meet.
Chloe: The Rescue Dog with a Heart of Gold
Chloe’s story is one of resilience and love. Abandoned by her previous owner, she found her way to us, waiting just outside our home. At first, she was extremely protective and wary of her new surroundings. But over time, her kind heart shone through. She’s fiercely loyal to her new home and isn’t afraid to make a scene — especially when it comes to her not-so-friendly rivalry with Ciao. Despite her rough past, she has found her place in our family, proving that every dog deserves a second chance.
Life with Four Huskies and a Golden Retriever
Having four Huskies and a Golden Retriever means our days are never boring. Here are some things we experience daily:
1. Endless Zoomies
If you’ve ever seen a Husky do zoomies, imagine four of them doing it at the same time! The moment they get excited, the house or yard turns into a racetrack. Mola often tries to keep up, but his Golden Retriever personality prefers a slower pace. Watching them all run and play together is both hilarious and heartwarming.
2. Constant Husky Talk
Huskies are known for being one of the most talkative dog breeds, and our pack fully lives up to that reputation. Whether they’re howling for attention, responding to our voices, or even “arguing” with one another, there’s never a quiet moment in our home. Ciaopan and Blackie particularly love to have conversations with us, responding with a range of howls, grumbles, and dramatic sighs.
3. Thick Fur Everywhere
With four Huskies in the house, shedding is a way of life. Their thick double coats mean we’re constantly vacuuming, brushing, and lint-rolling fur off our clothes. Luckily, Mola sheds less than the Huskies, but with so many fluffy friends, it’s all part of the fun. Regular grooming sessions have become a bonding experience for our pack.
4. The Strongest Pack Mentality
Huskies naturally have strong pack instincts, and the group is no different. They do everything together — playing, eating, sleeping, and even getting into mischief. Mola, despite being a Golden Retriever, has fully become part of their tight-knit group. Seeing their strong bond reminds us of the deep companionship and loyalty dogs bring into our lives.
5. Unmatched Love and Loyalty
No matter how much mischief they get into, our Huskies and Golden Retriever show us unconditional love every single day. Whether it’s Panther goofing around, Ciao giving comforting cuddles, Blackie and Ciaopan making us laugh, or Mola offering gentle affection, each of them plays a special role in our home. Their presence makes our lives richer, happier, and filled with unforgettable moments.
