DATA ENTRY
An administrative position commonly situated within business offices. Employees in this position assist in supporting various departments in the company by entering personal customer and account information into data spreadsheets. In addition, they manage and maintain effective record keeping and organizing files intended for future use. This position requires an individual with excellent typing skills and proficiency in organizational and database software.
Some duties and responsibilities of a data entry specialist also include:
1. Coding information
2. Troubleshooting processing errors
3. Complying with data integrity and security policies
4. Printing, scanning files and generating reports
5. Responding to information requests from authorized members.
