Bachelor of Secondary Education – Social Studies
College of the Immaculate Conception
Hi, I’m Jean Heaven Nagaño—a licensed professional teacher with a heart for helping and a knack for getting things done. I’ve spent the past few years working closely with students, whether in the classroom teaching Social Studies or guiding them one-on-one as a dedicated coach. I love building connections, offering support, and making sure the people I work with feel heard and valued.
Beyond teaching, I’ve also run my own online thrift clothing business way back 2020-2022. That hands-on experience taught me how to manage everything from marketing and customer service to creating content and handling deliveries. It pushed me to think creatively, stay organized, and always put people first.
Whether it’s through education or business, I’ve always been someone who takes pride in doing meaningful work with care and consistency.

As a KSH Dedicated Coach at Phinma Araullo University from July 2024 to June 2025, I provided individualized academic and emotional support to students using platforms such as Facebook, Messenger, and phone calls. I guided students through school processes, offered personalized advice based on their unique situations, and addressed academic or personal challenges through regular communication. By consistently monitoring their progress and maintaining strong connections, I helped foster a positive and supportive environment that encouraged student engagement, motivation, and retention.
As a College Instructor II at Phinma Araullo University from July 2022 to May 2024, I taught Social Sciences subjects to freshmen students across multiple parallel classes and managed 2 to 5 class advisories each semester. I was actively involved in supporting department initiatives, contributing to event planning and design preparation. In addition to teaching responsibilities, I tracked weekly module submissions to ensure consistent student progress, and I prepared monthly progress reports and quarterly grades in alignment with academic standards. My role emphasized both academic instruction and student development, fostering a supportive and organized learning environment.
As a Senior High School Teacher at Phinma Araullo University from Aug 2020 to January 2021, I was responsible for creating self-paced learning modules and teaching Understanding Culture, Society, and Politics through online platforms. I supported students remotely using tools such as Google Meet, Facebook Groups, and Messenger, ensuring they received timely assistance and guidance throughout their learning process. I facilitated the distribution of modules, tracked student submissions, and followed up consistently to maintain academic progress. Additionally, I prepared progress reports and managed various class activities virtually, helping to maintain a structured and engaging online learning environment during the pandemic.
