From my personal experience as a Design Engineer for 2 years and later promoted as Design Supervisor for 3 years at Fiberhome Phils., Inc., I led the end-to-end planning and documentation of fiber optic network projects, overseeing the preparation of BOQ, BOM, As-Built plans, and Resource Data Entries for over 500 sites. I conducted site surveys, used AutoCAD and Google Earth for design, and ensured deliverables met technical standards and deadlines through thorough design checking and data validation. I also briefly served as Project Supervisor, guiding subcontractors both remotely and on-site during implementation, analyzing OTDR results to assess signal quality, and managing the resolution of fiber cuts.
