1.) Conducting a watch keeping duties to keep the vessel safe, on-track with the
planned route and monitoring for any traffic due to other vessel within the vicinity.
2.) Monitoring cargo watch keeping duties while on port to keep the safety standards of
handling cargo and crew as well by maintaining security measures on board the vessel.
3.) Well trained crew in the event of any emergency such as fire, collision and grounding etc.
4.) Keeping a sea worthy vessel by doing planned maintenance jobs as directed by Chief Officer.
